 Arturo Sandoval, Leblanc T357/F357 "Sandoval"

Arturo Sandoval

Since emigrating to the US in 1990, Cuban-born trumpet virtuouso Arturo Sandoval has steadily established himself as a jazz legend and trumpet hero. Equally adept at Latin, classical, jazz and contemporary styles, Sandoval continues to stretch the boundaries of trumpet technique and musical styles.

The result of three years of experimentation and redesign, the stunning Arturo Sandoval T357 Bb trumpet is the first brass instrument in over 15 years to be graced by the Leblanc name. The trumpet that Arturo calls “absolutely perfect” has a one-piece specially tapered mouthpipe and a single-radius tuning slide. The T357’s full high register is astonishingly easy to play, and its vibrant feel makes the horn seem alive in your hands.

The F357 Arturo Sandoval fluegelhorn features a unique solid copper bell and branch that delivers an extremely rich and velvety dark sound. Its sound carries extraordinarily well during even the most pianissimo legato phrases. Designed for flexibility and note-bending and for handling dynamics from pianissimo to fortissimo.
